About my design work

I love clarity. I hate clichés. I love the space between things. I hate overload. I love working with open people. I hate artifice. I love digging toward that intrinsic thing that someone wants to convey. I hate it when poor design obscures good ideas. I love the design process, including its inherent wrong turns and dead-ends. I hate the same thing in a website. I love the potential of interactive media. I hate overuse of Flash. I love the way technology expands our access. I hate the way it can sometimes cause us to forget what's important.
